Dear parents and students,
a short time ago I remembered a mother who asked me a seemingly simple question:
“Could you tell me in which respect your school differs from the others?"
I will try to answer the very way I did that time.
We are trying to fulfil our credo. “Quality school, excellent job.”:
- Our teachers’ age is low – We apply individual approach to our students keeping them active within the educational process. The teachers’ opinions and attitudes are often close to those of the students’, thus creating a friendly school atmosphere.
The average age equals to 36, one third is represented by males. We approach our students as partners if they keep the rules of the game. Our teachers also work successfully with the students who posses learning disabilities or dysfunctions, such as dysorthography and dyslexia, which enables the students to study and graduate without difficulties. - We co-operate with the most prestigious and famous hotels and restaurants
We believe the key to success of our graduates is conditioned by a quality professional training supported by practical experience at the top workplaces. It is logical that the graduates look for their jobs at the places they used to work as trainees. Our choice of trainee workplaces is determined by seeking for international environment of hotels, restaurants and premises. - The quality of language education is at top level
Language education is the showcase of our school. We understand that the most important condition for career success is the knowledge of two foreign languages. Therefore, in the Hotel Industry and Tourism programmes we offer 75 per cent bigger amount of language education compared to the recommendation of the Ministry. The education is realised in groups of 8-10. The groups are formed on the basis of the placement test results, thus ensuring the equal level of every member and quicker progress due to more intense involvement of each student. - Our graduates are well prepared for the job marketn
According to the data published by the Prague Job office the professional fulfilment was 99 per cent. - Our school is a safe place
We are extensively focused on bullying and drug abuse prevention. - Out of 24 schools in the Czech republic we are an honoured holder of the Quality Gold Certificate.
